So forget the fact he was the drummer for Nirvana (holy shit) but the dude has been putting out the catchiest pop songs for over a decade. He's a good drummer but he is a even better front man. I remember watching Foo Fighters at the Virgin Festival 2 years ago and they were unstoppable. They played for 2 hours and it felt like 10 minutes. What a day!

I was in heaven for 90 minutes yesterday. It was AWESOME!

I did this in high school first....

The MLS increased in credibility....

....because Thierry Henry just signed with the New York Red Bulls. Sure it's the worst kept secret ever, but it's exciting none the less. He's 32 and still has 2-3 years in his legs to tear the league a new one. I'm stoked I already have tickets for the game in August, something tells me they will be hard to come by.

ENGLAND!!! So this is how I see the World Cup playing out. All biases aside I actually think the Three Lions can win it all. I predict a England-Spain final and England winning it (unless it goes to penalties, in which case I will throw feces everywhere). The dark horse of the tournament will be my homeland which I sold out (support wise) Serbia. Everyone is picking one of the African countries to be the surprise of the tourney, I just don't see it. Serbia has good defense, solid midfield and a 7 foot striker (Zigic) who will cause problems. Last time around they lost all 3 games, they have to do better. If they don't the traveling supporters (who are nutcases) will go apeshit. The most entertaining games will involve New Zealand (book it!). They play a 3-4-3 system which means either a ton of goals scored or conceded. Should be fun! Italy (defending their title) will struggle this time around. Their coach brought in 5 WRONG strikers (how do you leave Cassano and DeRossi out?) and will find it difficult to score. Germany and France will have a short tournament. Just a hunch. If you want to watch beautiful football watch Spain. Forget Brazil or Argentina. Super curious how North Korea does since nobody knows anything about the team! In North Korea they will only show games that they win. I don't see them winning any of the games in their group, so sucks to be in North Korea (in more ways than one). Players that will battle it out for the Golden Boot (most goals scored) are: Wayne Rooney (ENG), David Villa (SPN) and Fabiano (BRA). So that's how it will play out. If England or Serbia both flop (parish the thought) I'm cheering for USA!

Anto and I are going to the TFC game in a couple of hours. 3 years ago Danny Dichio scored the first goal in TFC's history along with a first red card later on in the game. Anto and I were there as well (with Gurn and Jack). It was such a awesome game. They gave away seat cushions and when the goal went in the cushions they were flying. Anto took this pic of the goal. It's cold and windy and it will probably rain (or snow) but I'm going to be there no matter what. We have a wicked record in shitty weather and the atmosphere is kicked up a notch.

Manchester United have 18 titles. Liverpool FC have 18 titles. Today's game between Chelsea and Liverpool was huge. Questions were asked if Liverpool would fold like a cheap hooker and fold giving Chelsea the title, or play and actually give a shit. Seeing how both of the Chelsea goals were "mistakes" by Gerrard and Carragher, this makes me hate Liverpool even more.

Alright I'm about to nerd out on y'all. Pavement has been one of my favourite bands since I was a wee little lad. I had all their cassette tapes (you heard me). I never saw them play live and thought that I would never get a chance to either. Well that all changed since they are playing a reunion tour this year all over the globe. Playing a wicked show in Toronto in June. I can't wait. Here is a clip of them playing from the first show in like 10 years. Gold Soundz is also my favourite song by them. Enjoy.

Last night Jack and I went to see Dinosaur Jr. The only bummer was that Murph was not allowed to come into Canada, but Kyle who took over the drumming duties didn't miss a beat (get it?). Anywhoo as expected the show was unreal. They played everything I wanted to hear and then some. 16 songs in total if I remember correctly. If you get a chance to check them out please do yourself a service and do so. The highlight for me was when Lou took over singing duties for "Lightning Bulb". He has such a wicked voice that it makes me wonder how come I don't listen to Sebadoh more often. Well that's going to change believe you me. Wicked band, wicked show, wicked night.

LOST season finale

LOST is sadly ending this year.  So many questions have to be answered and the writers better not dilly dally around them.  If the show ends up being all of them stuck in purgatory I'm going to find Jack Sheppard my self and kick his but.  Totally stoked for it!
